In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

And then He created a man in His own image.

At this time the wickedness of man was great in all the earth.

Abrahams son Isaac, was forty years old when he married Rebekah, Rebekah gave birth to twin boys called, Esau and Jacob.

Esau was a hairy man and grew to be a hunter.

Israel had twelve sons by four wives. These twelve sons became known as the twelve tribes of Israel, or the children of Israel.

To lead the way, God appeared as a pillar of cloud in the daytime.

At night-time, God appeared as a pillar of fire.

God took Moses to the top of the mountain and showed him the Promised Land. At the age of one hundred and twenty years Moses died and God buried him.

As soon as Gideon died, the children of Israel started to worship the heathen god Baal.

They did evil in the sight of the Lord

The temple fell on about three thousand Philistines. So Samson killed more people at his death, than he killed throghout his life.

At the same time as Samuel lived a boy named David. David was the great grandson of Ruth and was the youngest of seven brothers.

His job was to look after his father Jesse’s sheep.

David married Bathsheba and later they had a son, whom they named Solomon.

At the same time as Elisha, lived a man called Naaman. Naaman had leprosy and was the captain of the Syrian army.ㅍ

Naaman’s Israelite servant said, “If Naaman would visit the prophet of God in Israel, he would be healed.” 나아만의 이스라엘 종은 “나아만이 이스라엘에 있는 하나님의 선지자를 만나면 나을 것입니다”라고 말했습니다.

“This is not a time to receive gifts! The leprosy that Naaman had shall be on you.” And Elishia’s servant went out a leper.

Eventually, Nebbucanazzer died and his son Belshazzar was appointed king.

Belshazzar decided to throw a party.

The next prophet of Israel was John the Baptiser, his message was, “Prepare the way for the Lord.”

The first Roman Emperor was Augustus who reigned until 14. A.D.

The second Roman Emperor was Tiberius, the son-in-law of Augustus. .

This was now the end of Paul’s SECOND MISSIONARY TRIP

Enoch’s great grandson Noah, had a wife and three sons. One day God said to Noah.

“My hand is against this violence, build an ark. I will flood the earth!”

At the age of nine hundred and fifty years Noah died.

One of Israel’s sons was called Joseph.

Israel loved Joseph more than the others.

And they did, when Joseph died at the age of one hundred and ten years.

God spoke to Joshua, “My servant Moses is dead, stand up and fight.”

Then Joshua issued instructions for the people to cross the river Jordan.

Soon after this Joshua died, at the age of one hundred and ten years.

During the time of the Judges there was a famine in Israel, Naomi an Israelite, went to Moab where her husband and two sons died.

Naomi, was comforted by her two widowed daughter-in-laws, Ruth and Oprah, they were not Israelites, but had asked to stay with Naomi.

Ruth’s son was called Obed,. Obed was to have a son called Jesse and Jesse was to have a son called David. So Naomi’s third generation of grandsons was none other than King David.

David’s actions displeased the Lord, but the Lord loved Solomon.

Years later when David was an old man, another of his son’s Adonijah, exalted himself.

Solomon reigned over Israel for forty years and 930 years before Christ, Solomon died.

Ever since the Lord took the kingdom from Solomon,

There was the kingdom of Judah in the south, and the kingdom of Israel in the north.

The total destruction of Jerusalem and the temple began, as prophesied by the prophets.

At the village of Nazareth in Israel, there lived a young girl called Mary who was a virgin. Mary was engaged to be married to a carpenter named Joseph.

One day an angel appeared, “Mary, you will give birth to God’s Son and His name shall be Jesus, the Saviour.”

“If only you will believe and not doubt, whatever you ask in prayer believing, you will receive.”

IN THE YEAR 52 Paul said farewell to the believers in Antioch and set off on his THIRD MISSIONARY TRIP

Paul encouraged the believers in Derbe, Lystra, Iconium and Antioch. In the YEAR 53 Paul arrived in Ephesus.

With sacrifices finished, the abomination of desolation ended, the end times of the Old Covenant were complete.

After the great flood, the Bible gives us the account of the tower at Babel.

Followed by the life story of a man called Abram.

Abraham’s life came to an end when he was one hundred and seventy five years old.

Since Joseph died, over four hundred years had passed and the Israelites were now slaves in Egypt.

The Pharaoh was concerned, as there were around two million Israelites.

So it was that the children of Israel left Egypt.

After the death of Joshua, for about 250 years, God appointed Judges, until the time of Samuel, who was the last Judge, and Saul became the first king.

This is the story of Gideon the Judge. The Israelites had been serving foreign gods and were once again slaves.

Gideon had many wives and seventy sons and he lived to a good old age, then died.

After Joshua died, God raised up Judges for about 250 years, Samuel was the last judge, before the time of the kings.

Hannah was a godly woman who was praying for a child, Eli blessed her, “Go in peace and the God of Israel grant your request.”

Samuel took the place of Eli, and led the children of Israel back to the Lord.

The first three kings in Israel were Saul, David, and then Solomon. Fifty years after Solomon’s death, in the year 873 B.C

Ahab was king and there was no king worse than Ahab.

And Elijah was taken to heaven in a whirlwind.

586 years before Christ, Jerusalem.

Was besieged by the king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar.

At the end of seven years, God restored the kings mind. Daniel welcomed him back and God blessed the king.

Jesus told His disciples, “When we get to Jerusalem, the Son of God will be crucified and after three days, He will rise from the dead!”

As they neared Jerusalem, the people waved branches shouting, “Hosanna! Save us Lord! Save us!”

That same day around three thousand people were saved and baptised. These events took place in the year 33.
